Poor hotel for price level

This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. They have no coffee in the room, no laundry service. We had to check in through the restaurant since there is never anyone at the reception. At check out, we had to leave early (6am) and there was no one there again, he asked us to wait till 8 am even when we told him we had a flight. We were never even informed that reception is not available 24x7 which is the norm at 4 star hotels. Not a pleasant stay.

Location is great, staff is courteous, professional and nice. Clean rooms, definitely a great place to stay in Cour-Cheverny.

Deluxe room small but confortable & well decorated

The hotel is fine and very well located. However, there are things to underline. We had a deluxe room well decorated. Nevertheless, it was located at the end of a long corridor. We encountered 10 stairs (a flight of 7 stairs and 2 of 2 stairs). It was not mentioned at all. Since we arrive late we were alone... It should have been noted; actually we could have been not able to use these stairs. It has been a challenge (sometimes when you book you don't know few weeks after we won't be able to use stairs thus you don't ask...). The Room (213) quite small. We requested a breakfast in the room, the staff did not where to put the tray. There was only a small console table. We thought a deluxe was bigger than a standard room that is 15 sq meters. It was a mistake... An advice: in the description mention the size of the room...

It is a pleasure to know you appreciated our location and the charming decoration of our hotel. However, we regret that we did not fully meet your expectations. We also regret that nothing was reported to us. We would like to let you know that the rooms all have specificities both in terms of the respective areas of room and bathroom. Also, the situation in the floors makes the charm of this establishment. However, all floors are accessible by elevator. There are then small differences in levels due to the age of the building. All the late arrivals are managed upstream and the customers called at the end of the day. The reception is open 24 hours a day for hotel guests and if there is no one at the reception, a telephone is available on the counter to reach the receptionist. The entire team hope we will have the opportunity to see you in the future. Kind regards,
