The hotel is dated but was a very comfortable option in the area for our overnight stay. Small things such as corner light not working {probably needed a new bulb} and tv in other family members room was hopeless..could just about get BBC1. We were only staying overnight though and didn't eat there, but staff kindly allowed us to help ourselves to extra tea and coffee in the breakfast area. Beds were comfortable and bedding and towels all very clean. Ironing board, iron and hairdryer provided - all very useful after travelling.

Breakfast need much upgradng.
Lots of ELBOW GREASE required on lots of places about round about the intererior of the hotel - brass , entrance, lift etc

The property was lovely from the outside as it is set on a golf course, but inside it is very dated. The receptionist was miserable. The room had America sockets ( round pins) so couldn’t plug in my electrics. The bathroom was stained and dated. The lamp and hairdryer was broken.
The food was good value but the breakfast buffet was not very good. Cold plates and Luke warm food and coffee. Unfortunately I won’t stay here again.
