"Salema is so very beautiful. Our villa had three different levels to view the town including a spiral staircase to the rooftop which was perfect for viewing the star-filled sky as well as gorgeous sunrise over the water. The beach is a short walk away and there is a wonderful local pastry shop run by Marta (I believe that was her name) not too far away with very reasonable and delicious baked goods. The only negative was that our next door neighbors were loud (but it was also New Year’s Eve so...

"We stayed a week at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the room and other facilities and breakfast buffet were brilliant. What could improve a longer stay (like ours) is more food options for the evening (more casual dining options too), clearer roles for staff serving in the restaurant (some confusion there), and a heated outside spa pool. Other than that - really great!"

"Really nice property, the room was quite big with tasteful decor and clean. Breakfast was in the sister hotel next door, a simple breakfast."

"Easy check in. Friendly staff. Nice room. While parking was not included, it was easy to park in front of the hotel and it was free. Nice breakfast. Short walk to the beach. Good location. Quiet. Stayed 3 nights and would go back. Spent 2 weeks in the Algarve, changing city and hotel every 3 days and this place was my favorite."

"To start off, we had a late arrival to the property; working with Stella at the front desk, she made our arrival seamless and easy (they do not have a 24 hour front desk). The location of the property could not be any more picturesque and the location to the town and local beach makes it feel like everything is right in your very own backyard. "Rooms are big, the people in charge of the hotel are so friendly and have an excellent customer service. "

"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...
