"Loved this hotel! Super friendly staff from the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant and beach club! Grounds and are well taken care of and wonderful to admire while you walk to and from your room. Our room was nice and had plenty of space to relax along with a balcony. The free breakfast is delicious and the beach club has great service. Loved the beach access which is situated right down the street and has a dedicated area for the hotel guests."

"The Alma is in a great location, despite very few amenities. Beach is wonderful and an easy walk. Our stay was spoiled by apalling and loud music from the bar but blasted over the whole site - which consisted mainly of out of key solo singing and guitar over poor Pink Floyd backing tracks from about 6.00pm onwards, followed by dreadful karaoke from 9.00 to midnight. "Not worth the money. While it is located on a beautiful beach, the hotel has no value for money. The food is horrible and the staff treats you as if you're at a child's birthday party. If you want to relax, forget it, the hotel has high volume music on the beach all day long and the staff engaged to entertain ask you to join some kind of activity every 10 mins. From Karaoke to other games on the beach all day long - and we chose this place to stay in some quiet since it is an adults only hotel....

"The staff of the hotel went out of their way to be helpful and catered for all our needs. We only booked one night as we were off to the airport the next morning. I wish would could have stayed longer and enjoyed sitting on the balcony of my room overlooking the orange grove, hills and town. A very pleasant stay."
