This is an amazing small hotel inside the big hotel. All the amenities are beautiful with an impeccable service. All rooms are overlooking the ocean. There was an easy beach access from the pool area. We also had full access to the spa. Our room was very comfortable with sliding separating if the sleeping area from the sitting area. Overall, fantastic choice for a relaxing adult vacation.

Not worth the extra money - too many small issues
Posted 13 Feb 2023 on Hotelsgreat spot and Salombe adults only as part of much larger Anthelia hotel is the concept.
On the plus side the staff were exceptionally attentive. However we reported our TV not working effectively (poor signal making it unwatchable). It was alledgedly fixed but the fault was still the same. We found the mattress to be exceptionally firm. We passed feedback and they then fitted a mattress cushion which did then make it acceptable. However it was only by chance we passed feedback. It would have been nice if it was offered as an option upon check in. Interestingly my father stayed here 10 days before and had similar issues with their TV
We had an issue with the massage not being the one we selected and then there was a debate needed to overcome the flipant reason for this being given
It was nice but at close to £600 p/n B & B it did not feel it was worth it. For example there were no daily delivery of fruit in our room that we have experienced in similar priced hotels
Overal it was OK but as my headline suggests I did not feel it was worth the money in an area where there is alot of choice. However thanks to the staff as mentioned earlier

Wouldn't stay again - try Abama or Bahia Del Duque
Posted 14 Dec 2020 on HotelsThe Grand Salome is a section of the Iberostar Anthelia. You arrive and have to checkin through Anthelia. On arrival there was no-one to take suitcases and valet the car and we waited half an hour to checkin (the checkin area was chaos). We also didn't get the room we had requested. Not what you expect when paying 500+ euros per night.
It has a separate breakfast section serving a la carte (Mirador) although we didnt use this as we were allocated a 7.30 am breakfast slot. The lunchtime bar/restaurant is very good. In the evening all the restaurants we used were Anthelia (nothing open in Salome)
Restaurants, staff, room and Grand Salome pool area were very good but the hotel made a very bad first impression.
We wouldn't stay here again. When paying this sort of money I would revert back to the Abama or Bahia del Duque, where we have stayed previously.

Amazing 5 star adult only hotel within an amazing 5 star hotel. Perfectly situated with a few minutes walk of superb classy bars and restaurants. Must surely be the best of all the hotels in Costa Adeje. Spotlessly clean, very well maintained, great room facilities, best breakfast choice and Salome guests can have a la carte breakfast and or buffet too. Our only grumble was the big outdoor hottub sprang a leak and was out of service for 4 days and the service from the butlers was hit and miss. Otherwise one of the best holidays ever.

We would recommend this hotel without reservation

Pros: Facilities, cleanliness, comfort.
Cons: Better wine list in the restaurants.
Location: Great location and lots to do.
The staff can't do enough for you. The hotel is a small boutique inside a larger 5 star hotel that is family friendly. Food is great at the Portofino Restaurant in particular. The only observation we would make is that the wine list is limited and not very descriptive.
If you want to have a relaxing break and be pampered to excess come here.

Amazing hotel. Every aspect is first class.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Sunbed greed. People reserving 2 beds in sun for morning and another 2 beds on the opposite side for afternoon.
Location: Great location. A large shopping mall a 5 minute walk away or if you come out the bottom gate you can walk for miles along the front.
Our second visit to this hotel and we are already booked to go back at New Year. From the minute you arrive you are made to feel very special. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Salome. They do everything in their power to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Food at hotel is plentiful and very good. New addition this year was Sea and Soul restaurant which was amazing.
Beds in the rooms are extremely comfortable and they now offer a pillow menu which is a great idea.
The pool bar at Salome is extremely popular at lunchtimes offering a varied menu of good quality snacks and meals. Special mention to Richard who works in the pool bar he gives an excellent service to guests and was sorely missed on his days off.

Adult only luxury

Pros: Food, staff every one is friendly and say hallo even if you have never seen them before. Pool is lovely warm when necessary and very clean.
Cons: Already mentioned the music upstairs, that' s all
Location: Hardly left the hotel as all we wanted was there. Walked along the coast.
Super stay with very attentive staff. Only slight criticism is the music in the bar upstairs is very similar and not very good.....but then we went elsewhere in the hotel.
