"The property was excellent and it was unfortunate that the pool was closed as it was disappointing to the children who wanted to use it. Staff was very accommodating and the food in the restaurant was excellent. "The hotel is in a beautiful location. The staff is very helpful, they went above and beyond. Language is an issue, but it is Spain and we all should try to speak the native tongue. The dinners and breakfasts were very tasty. The hotel caters to an older crowd, this should not disuade anyone. This hotel and its' staff were one of the highlights of my trip through Spain. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the spa is quite lovely."

"We used this hotel for an overnight stop on our way from Zaragoza to Almeria airport (picking someone up). Did not arrive till gone 9pm, but restaurant still open, had a great meal and some well deserved beers. Great find, very welcoming staff, everything in the room you would need and a great shower. Excellent value for money. Would use again if passing this way."

"The stay was fine. Very friendly staff etc., and very clean rooms. Just a couple of small criticisms though. 1. There was no hand wash for the basin and 2. the bath gel/shampoo was in those awkward to open little packets! 3. No tea or coffee in the room. On another note. Breakfast, for me, was a no go but this is not a critism as it is only what I have come to expect. Good hotel overall though and we would definitely stay again if passing that way in the future."

"At no time was the reception manned and we needed to ring a bell or shout "hello". There was no information on breakfast and almost no guests. The hotel has a nice facade but is dark inside and there is next to no activities. To access the pool we were led through a garage and the pool was not clean. There were five sunbeds in a shape that was very bad. The person in the reception was kind and nice, but did not speak any English and as mentioned had to be called from somewhere inside the hotel....

"A very spacious apartment built in to the hillside with nice grounds and views over the Sierra Nevada. Our host, Manuel was very helpful and passionate about the local area and treated us to a guided tour,as well as bringing us fresh churros for breakfast. Our overall experience was superb. "

"Great experience staying in a ‘cave’ house. Very clean and cosy. Beautiful setting. The owners weren’t on site much (but can be phoned and respond quickly) so as long as you’re fairly self sufficient its not a problem. Best to bring your own food. Really looking forward to our arab bath booking but the hotel cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, which was a shame. Definitely need own transport. Overall a great experience. "
