"The hotel staff is very friendly. The hotel is very nice—clean and quiet. There is a free public parking lot just around the corner from the hotel (and right next to a police station so it feels very safe) or you can pay 10 Euros to park in a gated lot on the hotel premises. There is a little shopping plaza right across the street with a bakery, a produce store and a grocery store plus there are two bus stations very close so we were able to take the bus to the metro and get into the heart of Milan very easily. "We chose the Hotel Del Sud as it was a decent price relatively close to the city centre. Transport-wise you only had to cross the road outside and go down to the Metro (train station) which would take you pretty much anywhere within reason which was really easy! We found a 72 hour Metro pass for the area was €15 so that sorted us for the stay. The staff at the hotel were really nice and we never had any bother. If you head down the road there is a 24/7 supermarket if you ever needed anything, a McDonalds across the road and a few different restaurants in the area. All round it was cheap and cheerful which satisfied us going on a short break to Milan - we would go again if we returned. "
