Although this hotel is now under the BW umbrella, we didn't think it was on par with the expectation that comes with it. It's quite old and although it looks like they remodeled the room interiors quite a bit, the outside amenities have been left intact and are lacking a bit of "fresh paint". Service was also sub-par. As we walked in for check-in, there were two staffs at the desk. One was busy with another couple, but as we walked in, the other staff decided to leave. And it took forever for the clerk to finally be done and to start talking to us. There was no apology for the wait, no welcoming smile, just routine questions about credit cards etc.. We then asked for a quiet room. The clerk described which room was "assigned" to us in a way that sounded like a nice quiet room (overlooking the patio etc..). Instead, we probably get the bedroom situated nearest to the neighboring freeway !! So why bother requesting a quiet room if we can't even get one ??? We also found that the mattress was not great, and quite a bit "springy"

The staff are very friendly and kind. The outside area near the pool is lovely. The overall hotel is outdated, and could use a sprucing up - at least my room. Loud fan, old fixtures, a little dowdy looking.

This place was average or below. The room was super outdated and everything like cooling system, bathroom fan etc was so loud. The bed was atrocious, I think the worst I’ve ever slept in. This is so important to me- it’s what a hotel like this is for. It’s not vacation, it’s not luxury, it’s a place to sleep and the one thing I needed did not provide. I’ll just pay the extra to sleep in a comfortable bed next time.
