pleasantly surprised!

Pros: we loved everything about our stay it was a beautiful place the staff was so kind and helpful just an attitude of excellence!
Cons: The wifi didn't work in spite of that we were still very happy and the hotel offered us to use their computers .
Location: The location is high up,on a mountain view the restaurant overlooks the city of Cortazar at night the lights of the city are so beautiful!

Very nice getaway hotel near Cortazar, Guanajuato

The hotel is more of a getaway resort. It is new and modern as of February 2015. The "hotel" features individual cabin type rooms. The location is a bit tricky to get to. It is just south of the city of Cortazar and down a long unpaved road. The rooms only have king size beds, as this is the theme for a romantic and/or relaxing type of getaway. The pool, sauna, etc are nice and new. The staff was very friendly. The internet was only in the lobby and restaurant (I didn't use the restaurant). The staff said they had plans to put internet in the rooms.

The perfect place to relax

I was looking for a quick getaway. I was overwhelmed with work and personal problems, so I needed to breathe. Little did I know I was so close to the perfect place to do so. It's the ideal place if you're looking for a little escape. Beautiful view, amazing facilities, outstanding service. It's not easy to find, don't believe your GPS and certainy don't drive through a canal. Haha. But it's totally worth it. Restaurant closes at 7:30 so make sure you get something to eat before that.

Good stay

Nice hotel on nice location, unfortunately no wifi in the rooms for business travellers. Also my expedia confirmation stated that breakfast was included and to the hotel expedia confirm that it was a room only reservation.

Habitaciones muy amplias y muy limpias, el trato del personal es excelente. Ideal para descanzar.
