A small castle lost in the Italian countryside

Pros: Its remoteness and natural surroundings.
Cons: It was very difficult to find using sat nav.
Location: It is very quiet around the hotel, but about a university town of Macerate is about 8-10 mins drive away.
We stayed here for a friend's wedding and enjoyed good rest after each gathering for four nights. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel has a famous local restaurant serving traditional Italian dinners from 20h. You would like this place if you are looking for a quiet and remote holiday, away from the city. A drive to the see is about 40-50 minutes, so this isn't a coastal hotel. Country walks and trips to Macerata - are pretty much all you could do here.

Posted 22 Jul 2014 on HotelsCheck events which are on the hotel web site. They have beer festivals so if you want a quiet night and an event is on then it is not suitable. Also confusion re payment we were first told by the hotel that Hotel.com had taken payment from our card, in the morning the hotel insisted this did not happen so I paid cash in the morning. Location molto carina e suggestiva. Camera e bagno un po’ piccoli ma tenuti puliti. Colazione da migliorare: solo le brioches buone .

Albergo situato in un posto molto bello e suggestivo;Stanza ordinata e abbastanza pulita ma avendo pagato €106 al giorno mi aspettavo maggiore attenzione nell'igiene (presenza di ragnatele,"residui di moscerini all'interno dei lumi del bagno e lavandino mezzo intasato per presenza di residui di capelli altrui
