My son got in late from a flight from California, the lady at the reception desk was rude, severe, and very unpleasant. His room was in the front of the building, facing the traffic, which was noisy, the breakfast buffet was edible, but not exceptional. Even though I had booked the room for him and had given my credit card, she demanded payment from him.

June, as I have previously responded, your son came with an expired ID. Per company procedures/policies, we must have a valid (non-expired) ID and must be presented at check-in. This is standard for any hotel. She asked for a card for incidentals, also standard hotel policy for every hotel I have ever been to. I am sorry you feel this way but wanted to give you the full story. Have a Blessed Day!

It’s a bit outdated. The room I got smelt moldy, I had to sleep with the air off, that’s when I noticed the smell was coming from there.

Room was in very bad condition. Needed to be renovated a very long time ago, especially the bathroom. Damaged ceiling and walls. Bed and pillows smelled terrible. The towels smelled bad also.I will not stay there again. The front desk attendant was very nice. This review is no reflection on the staff, just the owners need to spend some money and clean this place up. I only needed a room for the night. Fast overnight trip. Didn't sleep very well due to the smells in the room. Again, won't stay there again. High price/low value.

Timothy, thank you and we agree. We are in renovation discussions but since we are priced lower than all around us, that will obviously change after the renovation. It is super-needed, as you mentioned, and thanks for staying with us.

It was an older building my room needed a renovation of the bathroom. However the suite was large.

It’s an old(er) property. They do keep it clean. It’s older than the other Laquinta 1/2 mile south on university, but it’s seems to be in better shape.
