"I came to Cali Resort as a solo traveller and I had an incredible experience. The hotel is lovely (room, pool and other areas in general). I also have to commend the staff for their wonderful 5* service throughout my stay. I felt safe and well taken care of. "

"The room was excellent very clean the view was fantastic all food was lovely great location and the pool was fantastic One thing that could be improved is people put towels on chairs then go out for the day and come back in the afternoon while someone else could be using the lounge bed, I think this should be monitored and they should be given an hour or so to eat and if they do not return the towels should be removed. "The hotel, sadly, was in a very poor state. The carpets were all terribly stained. The door frames on the majority of doos were falling off. The hotel rooms themselvels were not cleaned fully, with large chunks of dust under the beads, stained bedding, and even bloody on one of the bed cushions. The food was terrible quality, to the extent we had to buy almost all meals out. When we did eat at the restaurant at the hotel, it was cold and barely had flavour. The drinks were fine on the first day. However, bar stafc confirmed the pumps had been adjusted for the fozzy drinks and therefore the syrup was not coming out properly, causing the drinks to taste like soda water. Therefore, for almost the whole stay, we had to buy drinks out too. I would not recommend this hotel, if anything, would recommend to avoid. The only positives were the entertainment staff who were very welcoming."
