Outlets were out of the wall, dead bugs all over the floor, bed comforters with burn holes in non-smoking rooms, phones were down the entire time, towels were dirty, toilet paper was dirty, floor was scratched and dirty, counters were dirty, toilet paper holder was covered in rust, deep scratches in the linoleum, air conditioning was more like a swamp cooler, everything was covered in a layer of dust or bugs including the bathtub.

They put us in a room that had a broken glass window and it would not close. The door would lock, but could be pushed open. It smelled like an ashtray, and was not safe at all.
They moved us, but it still smelled bad, and there were sketchy people outside and very noisy all night long.

Best part was the customer service and quickness of any concern or necessities for the room. Mgmnt was even approachable and friendly. Overall I am pleased with everything during my stay at Hill Country in Copperas Cove, Texas and would suggest to my friends & family to experience on their next outing.

The host up front, I for got her name . She was the nicest person I’ve ever met…she made sure everything was done right before I head to my room…
