Excellent stay at Quetzal lodge. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food at Colibris Restaurant was very good. Food presentation and taste was first class. Be prepared for rain and cooler temperatures, especially at night. Beds have plenty of blankets, heaters in rooms are mediocre, do not expect a hot shower.
We plan to come again!

Great place to stay! Hummingbird feeders and trails are amazingly for birding. The room is nice and warm at night.

Cloud forest birding lodge
Posted 11 Feb 2018 on OrbitzA beautiful location on the side of the mountain with forever views.... The grounds and gardens are beautiful and birdy... The cabins are spaced apart, all with good views.... Plenty of blankets and a heater to ward off the chill at 8500 feet!!!!
The food was superb and the staff were gracious and efficient... A great spot!!!
