The best thing about this property is the people. Everyone I met was helpful, and the proprietor went out of her way to meet my needs.
The property is undergoing some renovation following floods, but was able to provide a good quality bed, and better extras than I got in city properties.

Older style motel. Great for short stay. Needs some maintenance but is being slowly renovated. Friendly staff. One problem was attended to immediately.

Thank you Eddy for your kind words. As new owners it takes some time to upgrade the units and especailly hard being so remote trying to get furnishings, materials and trades people that are not available in Cooktown.

Over all the property was good.
The bed I slept in was hard and you could feel the springs.
When I woke I had a sore back and pressure points specially my hips.

So very sorry Cristian that the bed was uncomfortable. As new owners we are trying to upgrade beds and furnishings. Being so remote in Cooktown it's a challenge to get the items we need as they are not available here.Thank you very much for the great review.
