Unfortunately the guest had difficulty in understanding the issues of distance, remoteness of travel and following simple instructions. Otherwise happy to have them as a guest.

The room was quite and plenty of parking but very 1970s decor. The accomodation was average for the price paid. A note saying it’s all about the underground unique experience was left on the kitchen table? The bathroom was filthy, outdated with cracks in the sink and the shower rose was broken and water shot out everywhere. We contacted the office by email twice but they never got back to us. Would definitely not recommend staying at Desert View Appartments 😡

no heating. many lights out of order. tv frustrating. no internet in rooms.

For the benefit of other guests this needs some explanation. Coober Pedy has unique underground homes, as are our apartments. The reasons for living underground is the rooms are a constant 25 degrees all year round. We don't provide heating for this reason - it is not needed. Likewise, wi-fi does not work in the rooms as the signal does not penetrate the sandstone walls. We do have wi-fi out side. Also, the lights in most rooms are operated by using the remote control for the ceiling fans so it is important to read the instructions provided in every room. many guests don't read them.
Hoping that provides some understandable explanations for these comments.
