Photos were definitely misleading. Property was not nearly as nice. Was not the worst hotel in the world, but would rate it less than 2 out of 5 stars. The room and property felt outdated, there were tears in the furniture, dents in the fridge, running toilet, toaster did not work, no ice, wifi did not work, right near a bad section of town.
WORST of all…. our room was 30 feet from a VERY loud train crossing that blared all day and night every 20 minutes. The hotel actually provided earplugs with an apologetic note - standard practice next to each bed! We had a very important early event the next day and were not warned about this critical detail.
Would NOT recommend.

Good Day, We are sorry to hear that your experience did not reflect the common experience at our hotel. We typically hear that our location is noted as a prime downtown spot for business travel. I'm deeply sorry to hear this wasn't your experience. We do sincerely apologize that you didn't receive a welcome email which does illicitly detail that we are next to the train, as you booked through Expedia, and they did not provide the hotel with your email address to provide an additional notice regarding the train prior to arrival as we typically do for our guests. We do our very best to be transparent in regards to the train, pictures on our website show the train is located right next to the hotel. as well we provide a note about the train and earplugs upon arrival as we are limited in what we are able to do to combat the train's existence and try our hardest to mitigate its impact on guest experience. I have shared your feedback with the engineering team to ensure that issues within our control are addressed so that we may correct them moving forward. Location is ideal. Amenities in my particular room seemed outdated. Room was not vacuumed.

Staff was helpful and very friendly. Check in was easy. Convenient location and ample parking. Bed clean and comfortable. Our room overlooked to the trains which used horn as they went by in this area which I guess the photo on expedia does show! We also had a very bright spotlight shining directly under the window and had to try to block it with pillows etc. The A/C was also noisy going on and off frequently, in addition to the train noise, so if we ever stayed again, as it is a decent value for a suite, would only stay on the other side of the building.

Hotel is well taken care of, staff were friendly and helpful and my husband and I loved the Schuykill Valley walking/biking trail right across the street. Brreakfast was great! Would use this hotel again

Nice accommodation for the price and location, staff helpful and friendly. Be aware that SEPTA trains pass frequently (15-30 min) and sound their horns loudly from about 6:30am to 8:30 or so at night.

We will come back to this hotel because of 3 things that matter most to us:
1.convenient parking
2. Good breakfast, and it’s included in rate
3. Cleanliness- Please keep this up! It could be s tie breaker!

The staff were very friendly, polite and quick to respond to my needs. My only concern was the maintenance of the room. There was a light that was flickering and needed a bulb and the kitchen range had a broken knob. It was fine for me because I did not spend much time at the facility but it did spark my OCD. The facility was very clean and the room was very well designed for business or casual travel. The desk space was extensive and separations of the sleeping and sitting quarters offers multiple uses of the space for all members without disturbing each other. One suggestion, choose a room on the opposite side of the street side for the train comes often and the conductor has fun blowing his horn.
