The property has several areas that are under construction, but even if there was not construction nearby, there’s a lot of trash laying around the back area that belongs to this property

My go-to travel hotel is Hampton Inn. You can usually be assured of a somewhat modern and clean room and facility as well as the great value of a large selection of breakfast options in the morning. Unfortunately, this property is the absolute lowest quality Hampton Inn I've ever experienced. If it didn't say "Hampton Inn" on the door, I would have thought I'd walked into a Super 8 or Motel 6. This property is not up to the standards of the Hampton Inn name and is a negative mark against the brand. The property and our room smelled a bit musty. There had been a half-hearted attempt at a remodel at some point, but very poorly done. Our bathtub had been painted over and was peeling. The carpet provided little confidence of cleanliness so we walked around with our shoes on, even when walking to the shower. Bedding was itchy and just not comfortable. The staff we did talk to were nice people, polite and courteous, so no points off for the staff, but the franchise owner of this property should not be allowed to use the Hampton Inn name and brand. Very disappointing.

Staff was nice, but hotel is dated, rooms were dirty and dated. Checked out early and transferred to another hotel in town.

Third floor was under construction. We were unlucky and got one floor 2, directly under construction. The room had a musky smell, probably due to the construction. Other than that, hotel was okay!

Looks as if hotel being remodeled;
exercise equipment placed in lobby area,
room was middle of being remodeled and was bad workmanship. Example, handrail at toilet not attached to wall correctly.

Under major construction!!
Posted 23 Oct 2023 on HotelsWe originally booked this hotel for 2 nights but when we arrived around 4pm it was under major construction. So much so we couldnt access the elevator through the lobby. We were asked to go outside around the side of the building to get to the elevators. I'm not kidding, see the pictures of the outside entrance. We were given a chance to cancel our stay but we had been travelling all day and I wasnt sure we could get another room so I felt we really didnt have a choice for that day. I immediately searched for another room for the second night, thankfully I was able to find one at the Comfort Suites.
I have tried to get any type of reimbursement for the 1st night but the management said since we were offered to cancel at check in any type of reimbursement wouldn't be possible. This is absolutely ridiculous that we paid extra money for this hotel only to find it in this condition. Pool was closed due to the construction. Breakfast was standing room only due to construction. Construction workers everywhere making us feel uncomfortable about trying to get around their work area. Ice machine wasnt even working that day. And we can't even get anyone to consider any type of reimbursement is mind boggling. Dont take my word for it, look at the pictures.
We stayed at Comfort Suites the second night for half the price and twice the comfort. We see you now Hampton Inn!!

Posted 25 Sep 2023 on HotelsThe pillows were awful . The bathroom had hair on the shower walls along with some nasty stuff that looked like poop. The bottom of the tub was gritty. The ac sounded like it was gonna quit at any time and the refrigerator was not cold. There must not be any insulation bc we heard our neighbors talking and getting ready and every time their door closed it was really loud in our room!
