About 20 minutes from Round Top. Fairly new property and friendly staff. The room was clean but the bathroom could have been better - particularly the bath tub. Typical motel breakfast.

The first day had a lot of guests so the breakfast foods were low, but the remainder of the days, there was no problem! Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean.

We found a roach in our room . The staff moved to another room but the AC was not working week but, since it was around 1:30 AM , we decide stay there. Building needs a lot of maintenance.

The rooms smell like mildew and the air condition was not cold. The furniture is old and the TV channels were not good. I have stayed at this hotel for years and it has gone down. This property needs to be updated all around.

Trash goes elsewhere?
The place was very clean. The desk and kitchen staff could have been friendlier. After I put food-related trash from my room in a trash container on the eating area, the employee complained about it because they it would fill up faster than usual. She made me feel like I had imposed because I had thrown trash into a trash receptacle.

Definitely a no frills property that's been around for awhile. That being said, staff is always super nice and helpful, and everything is nice and clean. I've stayed here a lot and it's always been a pleasant experience. Best spot to stay in La Grange in my opinion!
