Check-in starts at 4 pm but a room was not ready at 4:15 pm and we had to wait for a while to check-in. The pool was packed and no towels around 5-6 pm.

Despite being a bit under construction this hotel is one of my favorites in Colo Springs. The bar and breakfast area are tremendous and the service from the staff is awesome.

This location needs a lot of help. I understand a remodel is coming soon, but the ceiling was literally falling (plaster was on the floor with water around, several buckets around). Elevator buttons do not work well, carpet is torn and needs replacing. Our room itself had a non working phone, a non working light, frayed carpet and an exterior window that had a crack going from top to bottom which was covered in blue tape. However, we slept well and the room seemed clean. Breakfast staff was great and breakfast was good.

The staff was so friendly and attentive. The breakfast was typical Embasy Suite standards. The facility was very old and outdated. There was a large leak in the top window above the spa and in the middle atrium (bucket was placed underneath it with water in it). Our security latch on the room door was very loose and required maintenance to come with larger screws to secure. Our toilet clogged unexpectedly along with the Cam light above the toilet flashing/flicking when turned in. The shower curtain was not long enough, so when you got out of the shower there was water everywhere (we were placed in an ADA room without request)and all thay water is a slipping hazzard for someone who is potentially disabled. For the price you pay for this establishment, it was really surprising and disappointing to have these experiences. But hey, the outside got a new paint job so it looks pretty.

We waiting 3 hours after our check in time to receive a room, we booked 2 weeks prior to our check in. The front desk receptionist was unprofessional and stated it was first come first serve based on complaint, not booking order. Our first room was 85 degrees, maintenance was called and entered the room with no knock or notice. We were able to transfer rooms but the shower facilities were subpar (shower handle assembly was coming loose from the wall, shower rod was barely hanging on, no soap in dispensers, and significant water damage on walls). Place is run down and poorly ran, be aware.

Im very sorry you had issues at check in as we had late check outs from a sporting team which ran our housekeepers behind, we do not have a booking order we check in as rooms are ready. Manit and Housekeepers can address any issues you have in the room just call the front desk. We are in the process of outdoor renovations and will start our indoor renovations next year.
