Reminds of a nice old Mexico Hotel. Excellent location in the middle of Old Colonia Del Sacramento.

Unbeatable location, but should be cleaner, needs some TLC, and modernizing, of bathroom for example.

Charming hotel
Posted 6 Mar 2020 on HotelsThe room was clean and quiet. The bed perhaps a little too firm. Our check-in was wonderful - Mariela last was charming and very welcoming. We really appreciated being able to leave our luggage as we were taking an evening ferry to Buenos Aires. The hotel is in an excellent location for touring Colonia.

Cute, historic, central and comfortable
Posted 24 Nov 2019 on HotelsHotel La Misión is in a really good location handy to all Colonia has to offer. It is surrounded by restaurants, craft shops and across one of the best ice cream shops in town. Placed in an old historic building and decorated in a rustic style it looks and feels very real and matches the Colonia experience perfectly. Although the rooms are small they are clean, comfortable and everything works. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to complement your Colonia experience!

It’s a dive is about as kind as I can be. I think the main problem if my intuition is correct is that owners are not actively involved in the management.

This hotel was very charming. Really made you feel like you were in South America, very colonial. Rooms were small, shower was almost impossible to navigate in our room, but the bed was comfortable, the rooms were quiet and breakfast was great. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

A lovely restored mission in a perfect location.
Posted 15 Feb 2019 on HotelsWe spent two nights at the hotel and it was wonderful. The staff were attentive and caring but spoke very little English. Breakfast was served when we were ready and was good although limited to the usual bread, cheese, ham, etc. No offer to have eggs and very little fruit. The room was small which required some furniture moving at bedtime to access the bathroom from both sides of the bed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Although they advertise a self serve laundry, one of the lovely staff said she had to do it for us which was fine. The laundry was returned within the day but we were charged $20 US which we thought was overpriced compared to the $7 or so that we had been paying on our travels. All in all, we were very glad we chose to stay at this hotel which was located perfectly in the old part of town.

Clean great location nice people very big and comfortable bed the best.... The breakfast!

Quaint hotel on the Plaza Mayor

Small cute but a wonderfully human experience

Hotel very well situated & as we were there out of the high season, you feel like out of time...
We learned a lot about the town, the culture, they really do a great effort to take care of their hotel & town!
A big thank you to Olga Mabel, who was the one present for breakfast & gave us a little bit of her time to direct us in the town & around...
You feel little bit like in these B&B from North Scotland...
