No staff at check in (public holiday). Used self check in machine and it wanted me to pay again. Then machine malfunctioned. Tried Whatsapp phone number. Not working. Sent email. No reply. Finally cleaner came. Called someone and got me into my room. I had visions of spending the night on little couch in lobby.

Unfortunately, I'll have to leave a bad review, at least for the room I stayed in. Restroom had no lights and sink was clogged.

Nice Hotel / Great Location - needs a lift.
Posted 15 Dec 2023 on HotelsOverall a very nice hotel in a great location. However, we found out on arrival that the care machine was broken and needed to pay in cash with no option to wait until the next day if we wanted to check in.
Also, whilst mentioned way down in the hotel details there is no lift.

Great location in Altstadt near Groß St Martin. Everything is walkable from Lint.

A small and unique hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good size rooms with fridge, mini safe and tea/coffee making facilities. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the square and only a short walk to the main station and cathedral.
I will stay here again on my next trip to Köln.

Lovely stay
Posted 12 Aug 2023 on HotelsLovely small hotel in excellent location in the old town. Easy walk from train station and too all sights. Cafe attached is lovely for breakfast. Staff were all lovely and spoke English.
