This is a wonderful property in a countryside setting with an equally nice restaurant. I had enjoyable stays there before. However, service and reception quality seem to have deteriorated over the years. On our last stay, we were not even able to use the room we had booked: The reception was closed when we arrived within the stated opening hours, I could find no keys, and no phone number could be reached. Aggressive behavior around my later request for a refund. So I will not be back.

Old building with lots of character. Updated rooms sre nice and batgroom us very modern and clean.

Arrived at 19:50 no kore reception, this was not so bad as they had prepared my room and key, redtsursnt closed no one around breakfst went wrong too, without gping into to too much detail, serivice is definitely not one of the highest at this facility, although the surroings are beautiful and I was really looking forwrd to my stay, it was unfortunately very disapponting..

rural comfort

I found this one on an old farm property which has been lovingly updated and with more accommodation under construction consistent with the existing traditional architecture. Country air and open space to enjoy and recharge my batteries

Nice place to stay out in Nature

Pros: good heat in the room and the general cleanliness was high standard.
Cons: more signage for the sauna, internet that has a bit of integrity, room refrig.
Location: this place is way out "in the country"......there is a town nearby with shopping, etc. It is not far from DUS once you get to the highway
This place is out in the boonies and my GPS let me down in the dark. When I left in the morning, I saw the error that had been made on finding the place, which had me in the middle of a farmer's field. There are main streets (marked) to get to this place. You have to check in from 1600 to 2000 which is a bit of inconvenience to some. However, the check in was rapid and friendly. The room was small but very nice. No refrig. and the internet is horrible (I could not download a simple document from our company website). The sauna and work-out are two older machines and a sauna I could not find in the dark.........(this needs to be more clearly defined for new guests). All in all, I found the place very nice and probably a relaxing destination in warmer weather.

excellent quiet hotel
