"We absolutely loved our time at Hotel Le Maréchal. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the building’s historic beauty and the unbeatable location right on the canal. It feels like stepping into a storybook — especially at night when the lights reflect off the water. Our room was cozy, elegant, and full of character, with exposed beams and traditional Alsatian decor that added to the charm. The bed was comfortable, and everything was immaculately clean. We had a lovely view over the canal, which made waking up in the morning and winding down at night feel extra special. The staff was warm, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and offered a great selection, served in a beautiful setting. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore all of Colmar’s Old Town on foot — everything from Petite Venise to the covered market was just steps away. Overall, Hotel Le Maréchal was one of the highlights of our trip. It perfectly balances history, comfort, and charm. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!"

"We had an excellent stay. Room was spacious and clean, kitchenette was quite useful when traveling with a 1 year old. Swimming pool is small but nice and not busy. Reception was friendly and helpful. One suggestion would be to equip the kitchenette with some essentials like washing up liquid, kitchen roll etc. which we had to buy and leave behind."
