Came for wedding reception lovely place stayed for the night comfortably bed lovely lovely breakfast looking over the country's

The only issue i had was my tv was not working very well and kept glitching but I did tell the hotel staff and they offered a free drink and did offer to move me if I wanted to
Food was lovely and breakfast there was much food to choose from and the grounds were lovely and everyone was very friendly

Did not live up to expectations

breakfast was nice and lots of room in the resturant.

Didn't get a lot of sleep. There were what assume were staff members moving trolleys outside the which could be heard through the windows at around 11ish. The curtains are about 2 inches in front of the windows in the room I was in so I naturally woke at about 6am and couldn't get back to sleep with how bright it was.
The hotel itself is lovely, the staff were friendly (just not happy about the noise I assume they caused), not ideal after a 5 hour drive.

This was my first stay at the property whilst at a conference in a nearby town. As it is marketed as a more of a upmarket golf/ wellness hotel (I’m not a golfer so can’t comment on these facilities), I think my expectations were a tad higher. The bathroom in the bedroom I stayed in could do with a deep clean, there was a mold in the corner of shower and limescale in the toilet bowl.
Breakfast was top notch and serving staff excellent. Gym is very well equipped for a hotel and access to the pool facilities was a nice bonus.
Reception staff were lovely too.

Lovely stay, receptionists need customer service t

Receptionist needs training on customer service and welcoming guests. No tlc, just told us where are rooms were no information on where the spa was, that we had to book, breakfast times etc. We was the only guests at check in so not excuse she wasn't busy. Spa receptionist was moody, very funny with us for not booking in but we didnt know. Other than that all good 👍
