The view of the castle from the castle view balcony room was fantastic. The owner was extremely welcoming and provided excellent service. The buffet breakfast was phenomenal. It’s about a 10 minute walk over a picturesque bride to the Main Street with restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend booking your stay here!

Hotel is in a beautiful old town and the room we were given faced the opposite way and looked at a concrete wall and street. I thought that I had booked a room with a small balcony and view of the castle, but I did not get that.

Wonderful hotel in a picturesque area. We had a balcony room overlooking the castle and the view was incredible. Also surprisingly comfortable beds with comfy duvets. You can also buy bottles of wine from the region and beer at reception.

Stayed here for 1 night following a boat and bike trip. Older hotel but stay was nice. Bathrooms quite small but just fine for overnight. The breakfast was great. Enjoyed the fact we were walking distance into town and would stay here again. No A/C and with global warming glad we were in the back of the hotel away from the afternoon sun. We found it to be a nice hotel, which was conveniently located for exploring Cochem. It was clean and tidy but little dated in areas. Breakfast had plenty of choice. We parked on car park opposite which was free during the weekend, but we had to move it for week days but the hotel gave us a parking permit to use on the main river road. We were a party of 5 with 3 rooms, our friends in 2 separate rooms both had makeup taken from their rooms, this was the only solution we could come to as we searched the rooms thoroughly, even looking under beds and furniture. The makeup wasn’t particularly expensive but both were new items.

Apartment accommodations were excellent. We were very tired from traveling all day. Perfect place to relax. One of the owners recommended a wonderful restaurant with a gorgeous view of Reichsburg Cadtle!
