Great place for a stopover while traveling the Interstate 5 in California. Isolated, but that’s fine as it has all you need including a great restaurant and bar, as well as gift shop and small market. The property is top flight and very appealing and charming and everything is in great working order. The staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

I've been visiting the Ranch for the last several years as a stop while going to or from Northern California (I live in Los Angeles); the gift shop is my favorite - I've purchased several pajama bottoms there. The bakery is to die for excellent. As I type this, I am staying overnight for the first time. I dined in the restaurant - the food was outstanding. The room is charming and cozy. The shower is PERFECT. I'll be back. that's for sure.

The universal air system was so noisy I was unable to go to sleep. The staff was unable to help since they could do nothing about the source of the noise. Too, the floors of our room were dirty. On a positive note, the staff is friendly and eager to help. I also love that between the trees and water sources on the property, the many kinds of birds one finds in this farming valley can be seen.

Our room was huge (the deluxe suite) and looked just like the picture but it had no view like the ones in the courtyard around the pool area. The only thing is in the evening the outside did smell like cattle with no cattle to be seen. But it was a cattle ranch sooooo.

Overall the hotel is very nice!
We had a ground floor room that opened out to the pool. The grounds were very well taken care of and it was great to have the restaurant on site. The only problem was they didn’t have two queen beds available for us so we took a king bed and the bed was not comfortable.

One night anniversary celebration. Checked in…hung out at pool…and had a fantastic feast in the evening. What’s better than that? I will always come back here. Plus the pastries & fresh meat at the market? To die for! Highly recommended for all your grilling needs (the meat, not the pastries😁)
