"Ill start this review by saying how lovely this hotel was as a whole, however there were some negatives that need to mentioned. 1. The room, although spacious, was being to look a little tired, and was lacking things you get for a similar price range. The most important of these being pillows. All four pillows were so soft i found it difficult to sleep and woke up with a really stiff neck. "We were met by a very friendly and helpful receptionist and this set the positive scene that was repeated by all the staff we met for the whole of the visit. The food was excellent along with the service that came with it. The hotel is as expected ie an old building in need of some repair that was full of atmosphere and history. The gardens, inhabited by the beautiful resident peacocks were well maintained and nice to walk around. We were only there for a weekend break but I could visualise how...
