Posted 28 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe actually stayed for 2 days , staff very good , first night we got taxi to Clitheroe for food and drinks , Clitheroe is a nice town . Breakfast in hotel was fine with plenty of choice , all the food we had on the wedding day was excellent . The hotel is kept spotless as well as the wedding venue . Only slight criticism is drink prices which are ok if you like 1 or 2 drinks , but if you’re there all day its going to cost . All venues seem to do this and I understand paying staff etc , but the venues are paying very little for alcohol with a ridiculous mark up . Other than that excellent all round

Delightful hotel with loads of character, excellent staff, gorgeous setting, good food and wine.
Cooked breakfast options a little limited.
Larger and better quality pillows would be good.
Would definitely return.
