Unique location and wonderful hospitality

We had a lovely few days at Dale House. Dominique is a wonderful host and a skilful chef. We had a memorable dinner one evening and our cooked breakfast each morning was a highlight. Dominique was also very accommodating with our dog which made all the difference. Dale House is located in a very quiet spot within the moors so if you appreciate the peacefulness this place is for you.

This is a unique property in a stunning and remote area. The quality of the food and accommodation cannot be faulted .We hope to return again one day when the day light hours are longer.

This is a pretty special place. Kind and friendly host, gorgeous accommodation in a peaceful rural location, clean and comfy rooms, lovely attention to detail with the decor and an amazing breakfast. Everything was lovely.

Absolutely fabulous. Dominique was a perfect hostess. Welcomed us as soon as we arrived. Felt like home from home. Best bed ive ever slept in. Food was amazing. You must give this place a go. You wont regret it. Very quiet location. Fully recommended as Excellent.

The room was nice, with lovely views and the most comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely each morning with excellent quality local produce. Thanks so much to Dominique who went above and beyond for breakfast at such an early time every day! The B and B is comfortable and peaceful and being in the forest of bowland the views are beautiful. Stayed here for 4 nights and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again the next time I am in the area. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing break.

A beautiful room with fresh coffee and home made biscuits on arrival. Service was excellent and the evening meal was delicious. All home made and gluten/dairy free as requested. Really comfortable nights sleep, too.

It was lovely to be able to retreat to this comfortable, peaceful B&B after a family wedding. Breakfast was superb, excellent quality local produce expertly cooked to perfection by Dominique.
