We stayed at the Hickory Hills cabin, which had a beautiful scenery off the back porch and it was perfect for a couple. We came with family for a get together and to go on sxs rides through the national forest. They stayed next door at the Angler Arms, which is larger for a family. This cabin is very well set up, has a modern/rustic decor and very secluded off the beaten path. The owners are so very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed twice now and will stay again.

Great Stay!
Posted 9 Jul 2023 on HotelsWe had a great stay! Came up to ride in the national forest with family. We stayed in the Angler Arms Cabin. It is more rustic than the modern Hilltop Cabin but still comfortable. The views are incredible an hospitality was great. Definitely recommend if your looking to disconnect and slow down for a bit to connect with family and nature.

This cabin was just the kind of "off the grid" place we were looking for. It was over a mile down a single lane gravel road. Two cabins were next to each other and the owners were there for the same weekend. They were so kind and accommodating despite the less than 24hr notice of our booking. It is a great place to be still and connect with family and friends while having a comfortable place to sleep and cook your food. There was a good supply of drinking water since the water supply is a rainfall cistern, but you may want to bring some of your own. The view and the company was absolutely worth the trip.
