"A lovely stay in the countryside near Lyon. Very friendly and welcoming staff who were attentive. Good dinner in the restaurant- the only option for miles on a Sunday evening! Glad they had the heater turned up in the room before I arrived or else I’d have been freezing. "

"Lovely place to stop over on the way home, pool a good size and lovely to swim in, lots of sun beds. Only dropped a star as the bathrooms were very tiny (my husband is nearly 2m) and dated, also it was a challenge to carry 3 very heavy cases to the room without a lift. We had a family room which was in the chateau and was spacious with plenty of storage etc. Kids enjoyed it! Area was beautiful, staff very helpful and friendly. Would use again. "

"Property website made no mention that the restaurant is closed on Sunday. No eateries within walking distance. No bar facilities. No staff on site after 8pm when we returned from a drive to find a restaurant open (only pizza and kebab places open in nearest small town). Staff dismissive of our need for a meal after a 800km drive. Property untidy, unkempt and in need of refurbishment. Stained toilet with worn seat. Lots of damp patches in room and bathroom with smell of mould. No mosquito repellant so got bitten multiple times during the night. No hand soap in bathroom only a fixed soap dispenser in the shower. Only one pillow each. No cotton sheet only a duvet so very hot in the night. Internet connection and parking facilities was good. Declined a partial refund of our payment so overall not worth the price."

"Not an ideal location if you plan to use public transit to visit Lyon. Our cab from the train station was 70 euro, and in hindsight we could have stayed in just as nice of a hotel closer to the city after considering the price we had to pay in transportation. There was no one at reception when we checked in (during regular hours), my cell phone couldn’t connect to the assistance number so luckily our taxi driver allowed us to use his phone so we could call to be checked in. When the worker arrived at reception he was friendly and spoke fluent English. We visited in early June and our room was warm and damp with no option for AC because the weather wasn’t hot enough. We also expected to avail of the pool displayed in the photos for this hotel however the pool was closed. It must only be open during a specific time frame however, this time frame was not mentioned in the listing. Overall we had a mostly comfortable stay and the staff was nice, however the amenities were not as expected and the location was not convenient for the price."
