Nice hotel that had everything we needed. Swimming pool, restaurant that was recommended by some of the locals, breakfast included, little in-room kitchenette. Hot tub was under repair while we were there. It did feel a little dated. Maybe Quality Inn will do a facelift soon. Great location for visiting Wells Gray park and waterfalls. Had two fantastic dinners in Clearwater- one was within walking distance.

Very nice stay indeed. The room looked like it was recently refurbished and was very comfortable. Would recommend to anybody. Was a great base for exploring the Wells Gray Park which is absolutely stunning and a hidden gem.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times as we go to/from BC every summer to visit family. But when we arrived the power was out, no fault of the hotel, but a planned BC Hydro power outage. We can't blame the hotel for this; HOWEVER we checked in at 8PM. It was already dark. They knew about the power outage coming at about 4:30pm and never gave us a heads up, if we had known we would have cancelled and stayed in Kamloops. We knew we'd be checking in late, nothing around the hotel would be open so we brought food to warm up, and also had planned to do a few hours of work before bed; but we couldn't use the kitchenette, and there was no wifi. They also didn't offer flashlights so no light in your room. Yes, you could use your phone, but also there was no way to charge your phone, so this was an issue for the two of us with bad batteries. Then of course the breakfast wasn't complete in the morning as unfortunately the power outage lasted longer than BC Hydro stated. There was no power for our entire stay. So we paid nearly $200 for a pitch black room. No discount was offered, and when I asked at checkout, they said it wasn't their fault. But we paid for services we did not receive, some discount should be a given. They could have notified us before checkin and we would have found a different place to stay. Instead we already arrived late and were stuck, with no food, and no ability to work or watch anything and hardly an apology was given. Now we likely won't stay there again

I loved our room. My toddler and I were in a roomy ground-floor room which had a door that lead outside and we were able to park our car right outside. It made loading and unloading so much easier while watching my daughter. The staff were wonderful and our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Additionally, the proximity to the highway was a bonus. Will be absolutely coming back next time we come through.

Loved staying here. Nice and clean! Staff were SO great. They are in the middle of renovating all the suites and they look great. My ONLY complaint would be that I wish there were lamps on the side tables by the bed! Or at least that the wall lamps were on the bed side. Having the lights on the wall across from you is an issue because you have to strain your eyes and it doesn’t feel good! My husband had epilepsy and a history of concussions so it doesn’t feel good for his head and I don’t like the feeling of it either. We had to keep the lights off when we were sitting down which wasn’t my favourite. I still give 5 stars because I don’t feel like this complaint is worth docking a star.
