"Furniture in the lobby was not comfortable and shabby looking. Rooms could definitely use an update. Broken tiles in the bathroom- doors were off beat up. There was a dead rat in the parking garage entrance."

"This place is fabulous! Very nice resort. Beautiful setting, restaurants around to walk to. Got a great massage at the spa, too. The only suggestion I would make to the resort is to be a bit less stingy with the snacks in the pantry each day. They are a nice perk, but not if they are all gone right away ! Also, the pool and deck areas are beautiful views of the water - gulf front! "

"This place is amazing. The vibe is relaxing and carefree. Amazing views The beds are comfyand spacious. Jimmy's has great food and views. The pools are awesome. The walk to the beach is so easy. The breakfast bar had a lot of choices but only machine made pancakes muffins etc. Cereal yogurt etc. When supplies depleted they did not refill anything. Just get there early.They were supposed to be open till 10 but they closed the area 5-10 minutes early. The guests and staff are very friendly. We will probably stay her again."

"I was deciding between staying at Shepard's and Wyndham Grand. I chose Shepard's and could not have been more pleased. Very clean. Very friendly staff (shoutout to Regina at the front desk). Excellent food and drinks. Shepard's was relaxed and laid back. A more personal atmosphere perfect for a getaway. Ended up getting food by the pool four times. Nachos, fish tacos, grilled caesar wrap. sweet potato fries. All were great and reasonably priced. The pool and hot tub were super clean. We watched the sunset from our balcony. The loud music wasn't really an issue. Our sliding door muffled most of the sound. Probably an 8 min walk to most of the bars/restaurants. I expected some compromises when I booked her but really couldn't think of anything that was an issue. Highly recommend. If you are in between booking here and other similarly priced hotels, you should trust me and book here. I am confident Shepard's will meet or surpass your expectations. "
