Lakeside was a unique experience... not a chain hotel with a beautiful view of Clear Lake.

Our room was clean and attractive. Although we didn't ask for a view of the lake, we had one except that there were the legs of stored bar stools sticking up that got in the way of the view. I asked the night before if there would be coffee in the pot in the lobby and was told there would be but wasn't. I knew they didn't provide breakfast but most every place has coffee. The little pot in the room was pretty useless; I only got 1/2 cup and we only had one regular pod for 2 of us. I did really like the paper cups they had for both environmental reasons and more pleasant than styrofoam. Beds were comfortable; pillows not. More than anything, they need office staff on site earlier. Did answer phone number provided quickly.

Hello Sharon, im happy to hear that your room was clean and attractive for you! Unfortunately, it looks like you had one of our Obstructed View rooms so we are so sorry you had to see that! If you were to ever come back i highly recommend calling us and booking through us directly that way we can satisfy all your wants! Im not sure what time you came out to get coffee but it does start brewing at 5:30 AM. Staff does not come in until 8 AM so we apologize for any inconvenience! Thanks for staying with us!

Great place to stay! Very clean property, the staff is amazing so helpful and friendly! Great view of the lake!

We did stay off season so it was quiet. The view from patio was perfect. Near the water. Very pleasant. Helpful staff. Great coffee.
