Room ceiling was falling down from water damage. Bed was comfortable. Mini kitchen was nice.

Room could use some updates but was just fine for a night. Clean and felt safe. Easy check in and out.

This was all we needed, definitely nothing fancy and like all other reviews say the rooms are very dated. But it was clean and that's what matters. The lady that checked us in was so sweet. One couple did have the room with the bed with the frame that was bigger than the mattress and they said they kept hitting it. Otherwise we were happy.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Not having any contact with the office staff was a little off-putting but as we didn't need anything it wasn't a big deal. One big problem was the bed frame in room 2. It was made for a bigger mattress and the bottom of the approx. 3 inch metal frame extended beyond the end of the bed by about 6 inches. I tripped over it more than once (wthout falling.) You really need to correct this trip hazard before someone gets injured.

Great place!!
Posted 23 May 2024 on HotelsSuch a throwback!! The Clarence Inn reminds me of the family motels from the 60's except the bed was sooo much more comfortable! Small room but comfortable, coffee pot, fridge and microwave...perfect ! Very clean and quiet...will be back!
