"This was a perfect stopover between Naples airport and Calabria! Only 2.5 hours from NAP. Prior to my arrival I was informed via WhatsApp of all the codes to enter the building and parking lot. Marialucia and her sister are great and friendly hosts. The building is easily accessible off the main highway. The building is 3 story with 2-3 rooms on each floor. Below is a fruit and vegetable market. It is on a main road with some traffic during the night. There is an access code for the large parking lot next door, as well as main door, door to the floor you are assigned and to your room. We had a basic room with a large bed wardrobe desk and private bathroom. It had AC. Which we did not need. We slept with balcony doors open ( screen intact). Simple breakfast of pastries espresso cappuccino offered from 7-10:00. Water bottles in room. We stopped to visit a friend in Castravillari on our way from Naples- it was a nice stopover. I’m glad I found Green on an internet search. And that they had a room available. I highly recommend. It’s friendly and comfortable. All we needed for a night thanks Green!!! "

"Ancient castle fully renovated but to historic standards. Delicious, multi course dinner prepared and served in lovely dining room. Excellent service. Wonderful antiques, linens and dishes. Convenient location if you’re driving back to Naples or Roma from Calabria."

"This place had great potential but failed to capitalize on it because of its deceptive advertising It is not a bed and breakfast because they don't serve breakfast. You are strictly forbidden to use the kitchen you pass thru to access your room, nor even use the kettle or coffee maker to make your own tea or coffee. Their suggestion to go to a bar in the village is not a comfortable idea for 80 yr olds to hike up and down the steep streets. The room was large , the view amazing but they need to learn about truth in advertising "
