I would like to clarify that there are fire notices inside each apartment, located on the back of the apartment door. These notices provide clear instructions on what to do in the event of a fire, ensuring our guests' safety at all times. Regarding the lift, it is indeed a historic period feature that aligns with the character of our distinguished building in Mayfair. For safety reasons, the lift is restricted to a maximum of two guests at a time, as indicated in the signage within the lift. We understand that this can be challenging, especially when traveling with a pram. Also, please note we allow our guests to leave their prams in reception throughout their stay with us, this allows guests the ease of access and convenience. At check-in, we noted your request to avoid being situated on the ground floor due to concerns about outside noise and the sound of the lift. To accommodate your preference, we allocated an apartment on the fifth floor, aiming to provide a quieter and more comfortable stay. As for your thoughts on the layout and furniture in the living room, our department of interiors has designed all our Curzon Street apartments to follow a specific style that we believe adds to the unique charm of our properties. We apologise for any confusion regarding the air conditioning. As stated in our advertisements, we do not have A/C inside the building or apartments. However, we do provide portable fans in each apartment to help with air circulation and comfort. We're sorry to hear that you found the bed uncomfortable.
