Location is slightly less than ideal, made worse (NOT THEIR FAULT) by cold, rainy, windy weather that made the walk to the hotel a bit of a chore.

Excellent breakfast. I particularly lacked the informal seating in the breakfast area.
Why is the coffee machine so far away from the food?

Really good hotel if your visiting York, it is nearby to all the main attractions and sight seeing areas. The hotel offers breakfast included, which isn’t just continental, it serves full English which was an added bonus! The hotel is spacious with nice large seating area in the lobby with bar attached. The room we had was a Queen bed with additional sofa bed, the room was clean, fresh and contemporary with a nice bathroom and large shower. Only complaint is that the sofa bed is very hard and uncomfortable to lie on but for 2 nights it’s manageable. The hotel is feels safe and secure and offers luggage store and gym facilities. I would definitely stay here again if visiting York.

Lovely hotel, had everything we needed. Central & good value for money as breakfast was included. Particularly loved they catered for gluten free diet at breakfast. Staff were helpful.
