It was a beautiful building, steeped in history, and the accommodation was very spacious - an apartment rather than a hotel room. The landlady was also very charming and helpful.

Charming, coyld be more comfortable.
Posted 15 Jun 2018 on HotelsBig apartments pretty well outfitted. Drying rack or wash line in bath would be welcome. Also shelves for toiletries. Great location in.beautiful town and friendly staff. Main drawbacks: uncomfortable beds with only 2 hard pillows for queen bed; glaring lighting. Minor repairs needed, along with better clothes hangers. Wifi doesn't workwll in some areas/rooms. But a find for the price. . .

Excellent hotel!
Posted 7 Mar 2018Elisa was such a great welcome! She was so friendly and happy. A perfect way to start our stay. She upgraded our room to a superior which was huge! The room was very clean, my bed was comfortable.
We enjoyed being able to go to the store to eat breakfast in. Other than that we didn’t use the kitchen but it had lots of different cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc.
The hotel was a great location, an easy walk to sites and restaurants.
The wifi didn’t work very well or not at all. That was definitely the only negative thing I could say about this hotel.
It’s not a hotel where they clean your rooms and change your towels every day. We prefer that but if you are expecting it you should be aware.
We would recommend staying here. It was excellent value and would stay here again.

Pros: Location, cleanliness, staff, size, price etc
Location: Lovely location and plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance.
We stayed in a very spacious, very comfortable and beautiful apartment right in the centre of town. The accommodation was very reasonably priced, the apartment was big and comfortable and the staff extremely helpful and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place!

Atmospheric italian experience
Posted 30 Nov 2013 on HotelsThese apartments are within the Cathedral buildings, they are clean, spacious, with fully stocked kitchens and everything is very well run. I had a very nice welcome even though I arrived after regular check in hours. I would highly recommend these apartments for anyone visiting the area.

Relax and slow down in Italy
Posted 17 May 2012 on HotelsWhat a fabulous contrast to Rome! We (my husband, myself and 2 young men) stayed here for 6 nights in a deluxe apartment. While the decor is spartan in nature, what is there is comfortable and spacious. The location is central and the whole historic central area very walkable. We loved the nearby restaurants such as Fez e Mauro, Caffe Maggi, Trattoria Lea and especially the Cafe Academie right beside the Residenza. If you like people watching as we we do you will love the cafes in the piazzas. We had rented a car in Perugia and took several day trips to small villages in the area. Our hostess Eliza was always there to help us with suggestions and make us feel at home. She is one of the many treasures we found during our stay.

Nice apartment in Citta di Castello
Posted 21 Jul 2010When we arrived, the extremely nice manager asked me why we were here. I took it as a more existential question, but she meant, why would we ever come to Citta' di Castello? Apparently this cute town has outlived its heyday, but this set of apartments, created out of the unused cells of a convent (only the parish priest still uses a room as it was built to be used), reflects the history and the importance of this city. The superior suites (we were upgraded) were large,(as was their kitchens) though sparsely decorated. And while there was no air conditioning, the manager gave us fans. It is also well-located for a multi-day exploration of the city's sights, which include the spectacular, though rarely visited, art museum and its Raphael and wealth of Signorelli paintings.

Un lugar muy acogedor en el corazón de la ciudad al lado de un campanario de 800 años. Una bonita experiencia.
