"Other than the comms beforehand the place was excellent for a family stay. On the beach with a private pool. Three large ensuite bedrooms. Really well laid out and very well kept with a barbecue on the terrace. In terms of location it's quite good. 20 mins from split airport but not under the flight path. " Very nice property. Well-located and within a few minutes walk from the very lively Trogir old town. We had a larger room on the third (top) floor of the building. Huge balcony with an amazing view. The room is a little dated, but clean and comfortable. We anticipated that there was no elevator. The owner’s son assisted us with our luggage. "We were given a room on the 1st day and we were told to move to a different room on the 2nd day, which was very inconvenient. Secondly the main door handle was broken and they keychain was broken and would come out if the key every time which was very annoying to fix every time."

"When we booked this was rated as 4-star. Plenty of space, comfortable bed and nice friendly owners, but 4-star it isn't. We were also lead to believe that it was in walking distance of various restaurants but there was nothing - the nearby hotel had a beach bar/restaurant but that closed for the season during our stay (in September?). Views over a building site! The photos on the Villa's website include several that are actually of the mentioned hotel, not Villa Nico and it's own facilities."

"Beautiful apartment in a quiet back street of Trogir. Lovely rooftop terrace and comfy bed. Cooked for ourselves in the apartment using lots of fresh produce from the nearby supermarket. Note - if paying at on arrival, it is cash only and the atm’s charge for withdrawal… which puts an extra cost on the stay. Recommend for an overnight stay of flying out of Split."
