Gorgeous place at edge of philmont ranch. Stunning views and the Southwest style with lovely art and furnishings just perfect. Wonderful breakfast and food to snack on that was included. Staff most helpful. Want to go back next year and stay longer!

This is an amazing place to stay. We were not able to take advantage of the peace and quiet like we wished, due to our tight travel schedule. Definitely plan to spend time here to get the full experience.

The property is located in a quiet ranch protected by gates and fences. Upon arrival, The host gave us a property tour and showed us the hiking trails and the best places to watch sunset and sunrise. Breakfast was great. We had a wonderful stay and will stay here again when we are in the area next time.

Loved this property! Accommodations are wonderful - comfortable, clean, inviting, hostesses were very accommodating, breakfast was delicious! The Tooth of Time stands proud and the view of Philmont Scout Ranch is a joy. Really enjoyed the courtyard and the lovely plants. Just a wonderful place to stay!

This is a lovely historic facility in a beautiful setting beneath the Philmont Tooth-Of-Time. The staff was delightful. This is a very peaceful inn and breakfast is gourmet quality. Each suite has its own unique quality and beauty. The common areas are very comfortable and make you feel right at home with its tasteful western and historic decor.

Exceptionally beautiful and peaceful, great private 2 mile hiking trail, the property is on the National Historic Register for good reason, felt like staying with friends. Exceptional homemade breakfast. Jan is a wonderful host, all the staff were friendly. Great place for a quiet retreat, spent an hour writing in the garden listening to the fountains and the hummingbirds.
