"The hotel consists of one or two bedroom apartments in central Jakarta. The apartment was serviced daily and the staff very friendly. However there was no cooking utensils at all, just 2 glasses,2 plates, and bowls , and 2 sets of fork and spoons. There is no dishwashing liquid or tea towels. Quite ridiculous seeing as there is a full gas hot plate The towels and sheets were great but a bit of mould in the shower. Fully air conditioned and a balcony too. It just needs a bit of maintenance but...

"Room has a strange layout with its raised bed but it works and gives you plenty of living space in the room, bathroom was clean and modern, the area the residence is located was clean and quiet and very close to some large shopping malls with plenty of shopping and dining options including street food, the staffs English is basic but they are friendly and very helpful "

"I originally only booked a 2 nights stay but I loved the apartment so much I extended 2 times and ended being there for one week. Everything about the apartment was brilliant , the size ,cleanliness , air conditioner was brilliant , had to turn it off at times because it was so cold. Two things that I really liked were the washing machine in the apartment and the extensive gym was great . "Breakfast was not air conditioned, only option hot sweaty area or the smoking area. Breakfast options limited and poor quality. Asked for 2 fried eggs, took them 3 attempts, still didn't get it right, left hungry. Room layouts also not good Would never stay again"

"Somerset Kencana Jakarta is located in a very convenient area, with one of the finest malls within walking distance. The property is exceptionally clean and spacious, which I truly appreciated. However, one thing to note for potential guests is that there is a daily announcement or prayer broadcast starting at 4 AM, lasting about half an hour. If you’re a light sleeper like me, this might be a disturbance. Aside from this, the hotel is excellent, and I highly recommend it to everyone."

"Fantastic service. Value for money. Saskia, Leony, Budi, and Joko (manager) and all others were very friendly. I used the GYM, and being vegetarian- I got good breakfast and Indian masala tea and even lunch was perfectly cooked. I recommend this hotel. "
