Good stay

Stayed for one night as we were just passing through, but the room was large and comfortable, staff were great and food was excellent. We were on a fully loaded up motorbike so the big cobbles in the car park raised the pulse slightly, but thankfully it was dry. There is a bit of noise from the road outside, though I didn't particularly notice it during the night even though I'm a fairly light sleeper. A "sleep kit" is supplied just in case (eye mask and ear plugs). Overall, enjoyable stay and would recommend it.

All the staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent.

This is anole historic building with just enough updates to make it modern in feel without loosing the historic charm. Excellent onsite restaurant with exceptional diners. Main downside was that despite being in a small village there was a lot of road noise at night.
