This was such a wonderful stay! As soon as we walked in, I felt at home. I am so happy we got to stay here to enjoy the hospitality. Wonderful location as the botanical gardens are just a block away, a tram stop across the street, arts center about two blocks away, and plenty of good food options.

Brilliant place to stay with hosts Jackie & Steve providing a base to literally be right in the centre of Christchurch… the tram stops right out side The Classic Vilas. Large rooms and a well equipped bathroom. Dining for the large continental breakfast was in very pleasant surroundings and proper tea and coffee available all day and night. Crucially the bonus is that a bottle of port is out in the evening for when you come in. Extremely pleased we chose this place and would recommend a couple of day s stay

We loved the area as it was so lovely and very quiet-we could also walk to town or catch the tram. The hotel was lovely and we had a very enjoyable breakfast each morning. The hosts made you feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
