"I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. The golf is excellent, the tennis set-up is disappointing despite the number of courts. ...

"We enjoyed two nights at the hotel this month. The rooms are clean and comfortable - the only downsides are: no tea/coffee making facilities (a uniquely British woe!), the lack of a shower curtain, meaning the bathroom gets soaked, and the rooms appear to lack soundproofing as you can easily hear your neighbours / doors closing and opening at all hours. I don’t think the other guests were particularly noisy, just the rooms are a bit old. On the positive side, a lovely pool area and a nice area...

"We booked an executive suite apparently (it wasn’t expensive). The room was lovely, wrap around balcony, sea views from two sides, lots of space and good quality patio doors (very good for blocking traffic noise). Lovely views from the balcony and roof terrace restaurant. Check in was supposed to be 2pm, but ready when we arrived two hours early. Great location for the marina and short walk to the city. Ridiculous value for money!"

"Absolutely perfect location ,close to Sparta and Mystras . Property located in oranges orchard with beautiful view of mountains. The only one minus- shower /toilet combo, which is very small.There is no front desk, to get key instruction you have to call owner.But view was worth it!"

"Stayed here for one night on a tour around Peloponnese. No frills hotel so don't expect luxury. Breakfast had good variety and staff were riendly. Decent amount of parking around the hotel at the time of our visit. It is right at the seafront and nice area to walk along the coast, but a bit of a walk into downtown. Would stay again though."

"This quiet getaway was really a great location to get the feel of a countryside Greek town. Skies were beautiful at night with minimal light pollution. Staff and townsfolk were friendly and helpful if any needs were identified. Breakfast was HUGE, got to enjoy many delicious options and take away a few pastries for later in the day. "Charming resort right at Kalo Nero beach. Everything was super clean and the owners are very nice and helpful - you can tell they really care about their guests having a great stay. The room was as promised on the website, and the kitchenette and balcony were both great additions. Quiet / relaxing. Fun learning experience - loggerhead turtles nest at Kalo Nero in the summer. The nests we saw were near the rockier portions of the beach. There was even an information booth if kids had questions. Easy drive to most Peloponnese attractions. Excellent place for families to stay."
