The hotel was off busy road so that it was quite For the transportation was not so convenient For the shopping was not much around hotel but dinning was bunch of opprimons there

Thank you so much for your review.I apologize you here that I could not helping you so much of the transportation or shopping or some restaurants for you.In fact. some public transportations are available within 8minutes' walk from the hotel and you can go easily to Shinjuku or Shibuya or Asakusa or Tokyo-station without transfer. This is a great experience overall and I would love to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the excellent staff of the hotel, especially to Tanaka-san. The staff are warm, friendly, and helpful, and I am particularly grateful for their help in arranging our taxi back to the airport on our last day. Staying in the hotel was a great way to wind down as the last leg in our Japan trip and I really cannot be more grateful to the staff and to Tanaka-san's help! Thank you so much for your hospitality!!

Nice Japanese style hotel with good Japanese breakfast and Japanese public bath in basement. All staff especially breakfast serving are super nice.10 min walking from the metro/rail stations. Very quiet neighborhood near Tokyo Botanical Garden.

This was such a tranquil place to stay. We were greeted well and accommodated just as any person should be treated despite being a foreigner with limited Japanese speaking abilities. They made us feel at home and respected. The facilities in this hotel was beautiful and clean. It remains to be very quiet and relaxing. They offer free breakfast in a Japanese styled presentation. It saved us time to think of places to eat as there are not many options of food that are walkable within 30 mins. There is some fast food and cafes but not really what we are looking for while immersing in the Japanese culture. Now my favorite part is the private outdoor bath. It seema they have some essential oil added like green tea or some sort but my lord it was outstanding. For a quick stay at the akebono room it was awesome !

Not only language skill but also manner are we trying to improve.we learned the manner and hospitality from former generation and arranged to meet present needs.The hotel is located even in the central of Tokyo, but the surrounding is relatively quiet because we don't face a main road.Your room faces a small square. You may have felt relaxed all the more. A week before you stayed cherry blossoms were full bloom and now we enjoy azalea flowers from breakfast cafeteria.As you mentioned, it is difficult to find Japanese breakfast except for chained restaurants opening 24 hour.Our breakfast is served in Japanese style with a bowl of rice and miso soup. A side dish changes everyday so as that guests staying for days could enjoy our foods. We really hope that guests have best start of the day with our breakfast ! We have only 2 rooms with an outdoor bath and these days the rooms are getting more and more popular.So it is becoming harder and harder to reserve them for several straight days.You are so lucky that the wooden bath was renewed just a few months ago. The relaxing aroma is not essential oil but natural fragrance from the wood.If you have chance to visit Tokyo again, would you please stay us again. I only stayed for one night but it was clean and the staff was very friendly despite my coming in very late in the evening for check-in.

it is very homey. i love the surroundings, quite and peaceful and staff is very kind. we had the room with the onsen for 3 nights and we love it. it is quite big for regular size onsen. it is wooden and is very clean, they put an aroma scent to make it more relaxing. while sitting at the veranda with your hot green tea, overlooking at the pink cherry blossom tree. my kids and i are all tempted to walk down to the community park to take a picture of the flowers. it was the most beautiful sakura tree that blossoms at this time. they also have a massage chair located at the basement. which is very nice after a long day of walking. everything is just perfect to this place.
