Rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment - mattresses and bathrooms are way past their sell-by date.

only problem was noise of fan going all night and gurgling
from pluming .did report to reception nothing done.

We have stayed here a number of times and always had a great time. The area is so nice.
On this occasion we arrived back in the evening of the third night of four to find they had a power cut!
Until we had power restored we were all entertained by Sarah (the manager) Kate and other staff members.
A special thanks to Coral and Melissa for serving us breakfast with a friendly smile !
It was fabulous to talk to you both.
Cooked breakfast was excellent.
We will definitely stay again soon.

Lovely setting facing the village common. Parts of the bedroom a little tired now and an update would help but the staff were very pleasant and helpful particularly when there was a power cut through no fault of theirs.

Posted 17 Jul 2024 on HotelsI cannot fault the hotel or service given.. we went to do a couple of things and the young waiter was helpful in advising where would be best to travel from to get into London. We ate all our main meals here and the food was superb each time. This Hotel is situated in a quaint little village where it is nice and quiet. Exactly my kind of place.
