Perfect place to relax and recover from jet lag. Friendly staff, unique building and design, super comfortable room.

Pretty underwhelmed by the hotel - felt a bit tired, my business partner found rubbish under the bed (clothing tags and labels), so missing a bit of attention to detail. The parking was a bit convoluted, provided a video link to find the entrance, but a map would have been much easier to follow that a 3 x speed video of a car driving.

New memories @ Old Clare
Posted 8 Jun 2024 on HotelsIt was a lovely hotel - modern comfort and luxury in a deconstructed artchitecture that reveals the historical significance of the building and area. The stay was made more memorable because of the friendly services!
Just a note - the shower room is all glass and for guests who want more privacy, that might be a concern.

Clever use of the building to create large open rooms and relaxing bathroom spaces. Rooftop bar was a highlight! Great for out of town visitors, a staycation for us - glad we did it but lacked warmth and an atmosphere.
