Dear Paul,we are glad you enjoyed the friendliness of our staff, the hotel and its surroundings. In the morning, we propose a "real French breakfast", with local, fresh and artisanal products, as opposed to "international buffet".As for the size of the rooms, they comme in 4 categories, from 10 to 20 m2. We all speak english and are always available to advise about the choice of room if need be.

Lovely Stay

Good choice to visit Chinon and the region

I especially liked the staff... and the hydronic heating was easy to adjust. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Beautiful hotel in old French style. No elevator. Great breakfast in front of a big fire with choices of fruit lots of different breads and home made jams. Good coffee. Helpful unobtrusive staff Lots of stairs!!

Thank you for taking the time to post these nice and helpful comments.You are right to point out the stairs (and no lift). For people who'd taher not, we do have 4 garden level rooms and 4 street level rooms. But you have to enquire if they are available when you book.
